Join us for a tour of the underwater world off the coast of Marzamemi, comfortably seated 90 cm below sea level.
Captain Antonino’s father, Cesare, an expert seafarer, will take you on a journey to uncover our colorful and mysterious seabeds. The Gemini is a glass bottom boat that provides a unique experience, allowing you to admire the pristine marine scenery in all of its glory while just sitting aboard.
You will visit the archaeological underwater site of the “Roman Columns”, the remains of semi-finished columns that were once part of the cargo of an ancient Roman ship that sank in the III century AC.
Cesare will captivate you with tales of Marzamemi and its tuna fishery, the history of the sunken Roman columns, and insights into the diverse flora and fauna that inhabit these splendid seabeds.
After visiting the archaeological site of the Roman Columns, Gemini will take you to the beautiful rocky spot of Bove Marino. Here, the very blue water, up to 3 meters high, allows you to dive and admire the spectacular seabed. This fascinating setting takes place by the volcanic rocks that separate Spinazza Beach from San Lorenzo beach.
The excursion on board Gemini ends in the best of the ways: some refreshment aboard, as you treasure an unforgettable landscape.
